Description
The quintessential Tuscan wine, Chianti Classico bears the name of the land from which it originates, an area of 70,000 hectares between Siena and Florence. An emblem of Italian enology, the Black Rooster has a unique style, characterized by olfactory elegance and aromatic intensity. Harmonious and structured, Chianti Classico Piccarda Donati reveals a full and velvety taste of undisputed charm, where opulence and freshness coexist. Label: "Eredità antica" by Tetsuji Endo, like the Riserva.
- Production area: Chianti Classico, Tuscany
- Grapes: 95% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot. Alcohol: 13.5% vol
- Vinification and aging: stainless steel vinification at controlled temperature for a slow fermentation of 10/15 days. Afterwards, the wine rests in Tuscan chestnut barrels and 500 L French oak tonneaux for about one year
- Color: brilliant ruby with garnet reflections. Bouquet: enveloping aroma with notes of wild berries. Taste: full and balanced with a soft finish of fruity notes
